We had a great time at this year’s Care Show, which took place on the 9th and 10th October at Birmingham NEC. We decided to take a different approach this year and attended as delegates, which gave us time to sit in on some of the great talks, while catching-up with colleagues, clients and our exhibiting UK distributors, including Safety Systems Distribution Ltd and Edison Telecom Limited.
There were robust discussions surrounding integration, data logging, record keeping, digital care and the aging population – all topics close to our hearts and integral to Intercall’s considered innovation approach. Conversations explored how technology can be used to elevate both staff and resident experience, how it can help enhance efficiency and save time with reporting and record keeping – giving time-stretched staff invaluable support and even time back in their daily routine.
With Care Managers across the UK adapting and gearing up for the latest government and CQC digital targets, having the right systems in place has never been more important. Integration is key. While considering how existing legacy systems integrate with new systems, not to mention the sustainability of those systems, should be at the forefront of Managers, buyers and specifiers minds.
Intercall’s data logging system automatically captures and records all system activity, giving care managers and nursing staff valuable insight into the day-to-day running of their care facility. While the Intercall Cloud service allows remote access to Intercall nurse call systems, collating data into one single access point where it can be analysed remotely and reports produced, if required.
We’re looking forward to the various regional UK Care Roadshows coming up over the next couple of months. While if you’re one of our overseas friends, we’ll be at Intersec Dubai in January. See you all soon.
