As specialists in specifying and supplying nurse call systems for the care home sector, we were delighted when our systems were installed into several recent Award-Winning care homes.
Notably, Springfield Healthcare’s ‘The Chocolate Works Care Village’, which won best ‘Refurbishment and Renovation’ in the 2021 Luxury Care Home Guide Awards.
Previously the Terry’s Chocolate Factory, the Care Village’s design is second to none with an antique atrium and its very own High Street, which includes a cinema, pub, café, gym, spa and even a sweet shop! Working closely with our partners, Safety Systems Distribution Ltd, the Intercall 700 System was installed as part of the extensive refurbishment work ensuring the safety and care of the residents, nursing staff and dementia patients. We’d like to offer our huge congratulations to all the team involved in the award-winning refurbishment.
Having provided our nurse care systems to five of Springfield Healthcare’s homes, our collaboration with Springfield and Safety Systems Distribution continues into another two care homes in Beverley and Harrogate, where they’ll be installing the Intercall Touch Series. Here they’ll benefit from all the great existing features, as well as a stylish system using Care Cards to identify staff attendance, which when partnered with instant cost-effective remote support from Safety Systems, will be a huge advantage during the ongoing COVID restrictions.
But it’s not all about awards. It’s been a busy time for all involved in the healthcare sector both nationally and internationally and we’re honoured to have been asked to urgently supply the Intercall 600 system for six tent hospitals in separate locations across the United Arab Emirates to support the COVID vaccine roll out with our local partners MPi. With the help of our established supply chain, fulfilling this request was not a problem and we were delighted to help play a part in the continued global fight against COVID-19.
