We caught up with one of our Spanish distributors, Fernando Agramunt of Adria Ingenieria de Sistemas, to hear about their business and partnership with Intercall.
Fernando began by telling us about the business, “I founded Adria over 20 years ago, after working in the sector for a number of years. I saw an opportunity to provide my specialist nurse call knowledge directly to care homes and hospitals in the region.
I found Intercall at the very beginning of Adria, travelling to the UK to meet with them. I was impressed by the quality and price of the products, a feeling that was confirmed following our first couple of installations, which proved Intercall nurse call systems to be straightforward with a reliability second to none.”
Fernando went on to tell us, “The team at Intercall were interested in developing the local market with us. We are based in Madrid, but have installation partners throughout the whole of Spain, Portugal, Latin America and West Africa. Intercall 600 and 700 have been traditionally very popular with our clients, particularly the L762 Call Display with LCD. That said, we’ve had clients comment that they felt Intercall 700 was rather ugly, which is why we’re so excited about Intercall One, the natural successor to the 600 & 700 systems. Intercall One is so easy to install and use, while being beautifully designed.”

Reminiscing about their 20-year partnership with Intercall, Fernando told us that these days, “Intercall is very well known in Spain. We’ve installed hundreds of nurse call systems over the last two decades. The team at Intercall is always on hand for sales, service and support.”

Fernando continuó contándonos: “El equipo de Intercall estaba interesado en desarrollar su mercado local con nosotros ya que, además de nuestra sede en Madrid, tenemos socios de instalación en toda España, Portugal, Latinoamérica y África Occidental. Los productos Intercall 600 y 700 han sido muy populares entre nuestros clientes desde el principio, en particular el Call Display L762 con pantalla LCD. Dicho esto, algunos de nuestros clientes han comentado negativamente la estética de Intercall 700, por lo que estamos realmente entusiasmados con Intercall One, el sucesor natural de los sistemas 600 y 700. Intercall One es muy fácil de instalar y usar, y además tiene un diseño muy bonito”.

Mirando atrás en sus 20 años de asociación con Intercall, Fernando nos cuenta que hoy en día, “Intercall es muy conocida en España. Hemos instalado cientos sistemas de llamada a enfermera en las últimas dos décadas. El equipo de Intercall siempre está disponible para ventas, servicio y soporte”.
